Today's Bouquets

I’d rather be a ‘could-be’
if I cannot be an ‘are’;

Because a ‘could-be’ is a ‘maybe’
who is reaching for a star.

I’d rather be a ‘has-been’
than a ‘might-have-been’, by far;

For a ‘might-have-been’ has never been,
but a ‘has’ was once an ‘are’.”

—Milton Berle, American comedian (1908-2002)

  1. I had a go at making one of the Japanese bags you featured, I made it from a big scarf, it turned out great, thanks for the link!!!

  5. I made a Furoshiki out of a big square scarf, more of a shawl really, and it came in very useful this evening. We attended a wedding and the mother of the bride wanted me and my husband to take photos with their two cameras, I used the Furoshiki to carry both cameras, my purse and various other thing in. It's 10.20pm here but I just had to get on the computer to let you know.
