It took me awhile to grasp that "following" someone on Twitter did not mean they were seeing a blasted thing I was posting. I was tweeting wildly and receiving nary a response. Yes, Twitter can be cliquish, but I did cartwheels when people began to follow me, too
I have found haiku's brevity to be perfect for tweeting. Former Sun Microsystems CEO, Jonathan Schwartz, resigned on Twitter using, of all things, haiku.
As you can see, Twitter TwiHaiku just published my latest creation as the TwiHaiku of the Day. Isn't that "tweet?"
In previous posts, I have conducted haiku contests with some inspiring results. Next week, I will be hosting a new contest! It's time to get haiku-ku!
